Welcome to Southern Hills Early Childhood Program, where we've been nurturing young minds for over 40 years! Our program provides high-quality care and education for children as young as six weeks old through age five, as well as drop-in care for kindergarteners up to fifth grade during school breaks. We believe in the power of learning through play and discovery, fostering curiosity, creativity, and confidence in a warm, supportive environment. Our experienced and caring staff are dedicated to helping each child grow socially, emotionally, and academically, setting the foundation for a lifetime of learning.

We are served by a wonderful faculty committed to furthering your child's development and education; utilizing faith-based curriculum, we engage with your child through crafts, games, activities, and Chapel once a week, led by the church's Kids Ministry director, Hannah James.

From an early age, I developed a strong passion for working with children. After earning my degree in Business Administration, I recognized that the childcare field was the ideal place to combine my love for children with my professional skills. Working in this industry has been deeply rewarding, allowing me to apply my business background to create positive, nurturing environments where children can learn and grow. Each day brings new opportunities to support their development, and I find great fulfillment in contributing to their success. In the future, I aspire to continue this mission by fostering or adopting children and making a lasting impact in their lives.
I joined Southern Hills Early Childhood Program in early 2020, and it has felt like home from the very beginning. Over the years, I’ve worked in several roles throughout the center, which has given me a strong foundation in both the classroom experience and the administrative support that keeps our school running smoothly.
With a background in psychology and early childhood development, I am dedicated to fostering an environment where children feel safe, supported, and eager to grow. In my role as Assistant Head of School, I focus on building meaningful connections with families and staff while ensuring our programs reflect the warm, nurturing atmosphere that makes Southern Hills so special.
Being part of this community continues to be deeply rewarding, and I’m committed to helping maintain a place where children and families genuinely feel they belong.
